PRESENT PERFECT
Present perfect is the form of the verb used for actions or events that have been completed or have happened in a period of time up to now.
Subject + "have/has (not)" + Verb3 + Object
1. How Long? (since, for)
Example:
a. I have known Auliya since 1994.
b. She has lived in Jakarta for 3 years.
c. I have thought about it for two hours.
d. You have been sick since last week.
e. I haven't been quite myself since the accident.
2. Life Experience (never, ever, before)
Example:
a. I have been to Malaysia.
b. She has never studied to Japanese.
c. I have been to Singapure three time.
d. He has never travelled by train.
e. Hasan has studied 2 foreign languages.
3. Unfinished Time Word (this month, this week, today, in the today, frequently, already)
Example:
a. She has had lunch today.
b. We have seen Surya this week.
c. I have worked hard this week.
d. It has rained a lot this year.
e. We haven't seen him today.
4. Present Result
Example:
a. I have lost my keys!
b. Raihan has missed the bus, so he'll be late.
c. Have you just finished work?
d. I have just eaten.
e. We have just seen her.
